The Fashion Bible

We blog about fashion. The to die for clothes, shoes, jewelry, bags and anything else that we wear to make us feel chic. We cannot write about fashion without of course paying homage to those before us.
I personally have to recognize W Magazine. As a young girl my mother ingrained into me that it was ‘the fashion Bible’. With the latest in everything fashion and eye catching spreads it seems it cannot be anything less. Even the advertisments are from only the best, Chanel, Prada, David Yurman and Miu Miu.
This month features Madonna looking sexy and confident in the stunning location of Rio.
I’ll say thanks to W Magazine helping me to become the fashionista I am today.

bbb-240309Top Shop, one of Brittan’s most successful retailers is making it’s grand opening in New York City this week. April 2nd doors open on the Broadway and Broome location.
Opening weekend at the store will feature beauty treatments, treats for shoppers and even a guest DJ, for some added background music while customers peruse the endless stylish racks.

Oh and also, the new Top Shop Kate Moss Spring 09 collection premieres, as if you needed another excuse?

Bibs Aren’t Just For Babies

On a recent shopping trip on Newbury I couldn’t help but notice Spring’s latest jewlery trend, bib necklaces.

The return of the bib necklace is reminisent of something found in my grandmother’s jewlery collection, but it fits perfectly with sundresses or a simple skirt and t shirt pairing of this Spring. These may look bulky, they are anything but. Bib necklaces are feminine usually designed with ornate patterns or flowers, such as this Sonia Rykiel creation.

If the price tag of $1,950 is a little too much to ask, Anthropologie has some affordable alternatives, for about $100

Some shoe lust and these are a must

What an aesthetically pleasing image, no?

These Christian Louboutin flower pumps feel like a necessity for imminent spring.Surely, they are wearable art at its finest.I truly wish that Christian could be a little more generous in his pricing. $1,695?  Devestating. He must not have heard about the tumbling economy.
